Aer Lingus are speading their wings accross the world these days with a new interline agreement with Air Canada – one of the leading North American Carriers and another Satr Allience Partner after their link up with United.
TheJournal.ie has the details here.
“Air Canada is pleased to interline with Aer Lingus, as this will enhance access from Canada to Ireland,” said Yves Dufresne, Vice-President Alliances, International Operations and Regulatory Affairs at Air Canada. “We also look forward to deepening our relationship with Aer Lingus through a code share agreement in the first quarter of 2013 to further improve our customers’ travel experience.”
No details have been released yet about collecting miles with either airline but I expect this to happen when the full codeshare is introduced next year.
